Key Responsibilities

  • •Escort defendants to and from courtrooms, cells, and other court areas, ensuring security and safety (may involve being handcuffed to detainee).
  • •Monitor and supervise detainees in the docks during court sessions to maintain security.
  • •Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive court information and testimonies; manage emotional wellbeing in challenging situations.
  • •Ensure detainees have access to food and drink and cater to dietary requirements.
  • •Complete necessary paperwork and data entry accurately, including logs of movements and incidents, and work with court staff and law enforcement to ensure smooth operations.
