Job Summary

Lead and manage environmental testing activities focused on vibration and HALT/HASS testing. Engage customers, interpret international standards (IEC/MIL/ASTM/ISO/JSS), and deliver technically sound test reports.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and NABL accreditation requirements and drive planning, execution, supervision, and quality assurance of lab testing services.
•Prepare and maintain SOPs, test methods, calibration and traceability records, and measurement uncertainty evaluations; oversee corrective actions from audits and proficiency testing.
•Lead vibration testing (sine, random, shock, transportation simulation) and HALT/HASS testing programs, including developing/reviewing/approving test procedures, plans, and work instructions.
•Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of lab equipment, ensure timely calibration with traceability, and coordinate vendor support for upgrades/maintenance/AMC.
•Lead technical engagements with customers, interpret international standards and specifications, and generate technically sound test reports; mentor and train engineers/technicians.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
•Strong hands-on experience in environmental testing, with a focus on vibration and HALT/HASS testing.
•Expertise in electrodynamic vibration systems and accelerated life testing methodologies.
•Knowledge of standards such as IEC 60068, MIL-STD-810, ASTM, and related specifications.
•Experience with ISO/IEC 17025 and NABL accreditation processes, with ability to lead testing activities and manage lab operations.
