Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Commissioning Manager with planning development and reporting.
  • •Develop detailed commissioning and start-up procedures for assigned instrumentation systems.
  • •Provide daily on-site leadership and manage a multi-discipline team of electrical commissioning leads and technicians.
  • •Ensure preparation and approval of job cards for pre-commissioning/commissioning activities and manage job card allocation and completion.
  • •Oversee walk-downs, punch lists, vendor support, functional testing coordination, and support smooth handover to operations with required documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Motivated self-starter with strong complex problem-solving ability.
  • •Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach to interface with construction and operations teams.
  • •Detailed working knowledge of upstream/midstream oil and gas processing facilities and commissioning instrumentation systems.
  • •Ability to manage instrument technicians and coordinate work during commissioning.
  • •Typically 10+ years of onshore oil & gas completion and commissioning experience in a lead technician or engineer role, with supervisory commissioning experience.
