•Define and execute MongoDB’s global LLM visibility growth initiatives to increase citation share, sentiment, and accuracy.
•Oversee and scale an SEO/AEO/content optimization team and drive rapid experimentation in AI search.
•Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Documentation to optimize information architecture for LLM crawlers, including structured data and API/documentation accessibility for RAG ingestion.
•Coordinate community advocacy and UGC responses with Developer Relations and Support on key developer communities to feed high-authority brand mentions.
•Partner with Data Science and Analytics to create AEO measurement frameworks (e.g., Share of Model) and attribute AEO to PLG sign-ups and pipeline.

Salary: USD 104,000 - 204,000 annually

Key Requirements

•8+ years in technical SEO, digital strategy, technical content marketing, or growth engineering, including 2–3 years focused on LLM optimization, semantic search, or emerging AI technologies.
•At least 3 years of experience leading an SEO team.
•Proven record hiring, leading, and mentoring technical marketing professionals.
•Deep understanding of how LLMs crawl, index, and retrieve information, including semantic HTML, JSON-LD, knowledge graphs, and vector spaces/RAG.
•Proficiency with enterprise SEO tools (e.g., Conductor, Ahrefs, SEMrush), AEO/LLM monitoring platforms (e.g., Profound), Google Analytics/Amplitude, and Jira.
