Job Summary

Develop safety-critical avionics display software for aircraft, handling design, development, verification, and validation of features in line with DO-178B/C. Lead activities across the SDLC—from requirements and architecture to integration and formal testing—while producing verification test cases, procedures, and certification artifacts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges, assess software-hardware interfaces, analyze structural coverage, and support configuration management and change control.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, verify, and validate safety-critical avionics software features and functionality.
•Perform software verification and validation in compliance with DO-178B/C standards.
•Execute SDLC activities including requirements analysis/capture, software requirements definition, design/development, integration, and formal verification/testing.
•Develop software verification test cases, test procedures, and certification artifacts.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges, analyze software-hardware interfaces, manage risks/escalations, and support coverage analysis and unit test automation.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech) or related STEM discipline.
•3+ years of experience in safety-critical software development, preferably in Avionics Displays.
•Experience developing and verifying software following DO-178B/C guidelines.
•Strong programming skills in C, with experience using Python for software verification/validation.
•Understanding of high- and low-level requirements, SDLC, Agile methodologies, and configuration management/change control.
