Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and enhance Singapore’s regulatory management framework with consistent governance and alignment to Group policies and standards.
  • •Oversee regulatory horizon scanning and translate consultations, regulatory changes, and supervisory expectations into practical advice and priorities.
  • •Strengthen the regulatory inventory and change management lifecycle, including applicability and impact assessments, ownership, implementation oversight, closure validation, and escalation of gaps or delays.
  • •Maintain a consolidated view of significant regulatory interactions across HSBC Singapore and advise the Head of Regulatory Compliance on implications and appropriate responses.
  • •Support conduct risk oversight and partner with business, functional, and Compliance colleagues to deliver regulatory initiatives and improve regulatory management processes, tools, and ways of working.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience in regulatory compliance, regulatory change, regulatory policy, regulatory engagement, or related control functions within financial services.
  • •Strong knowledge of Singapore’s financial services regulatory environment and MAS supervisory expectations, including conduct risk, fair customer outcomes, and governance requirements.
  • •Demonstrated experience with regulatory management frameworks, including impact assessment, implementation governance, ownership allocation, progress tracking, and issue escalation.
  • •Experience supporting senior management in regulatory engagements, including preparing briefings and responses and interpreting supervisory feedback for management action.
  • •Excellent analytical, drafting, communication, and influencing skills to turn complex information into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
