Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide best possible orthopedic care to patients in the Medical Centre and meet professional standards consistent with available resources.
  • •Diagnose orthopedic conditions including joint replacement needs, sports-related injuries, spine injuries, and coordinate post-surgery rehabilitation.
  • •Help manage chronic conditions such as arthritis and osteoporosis and reduce pain/discomfort from overuse injuries.
  • •Take Most Responsible Physician (MRP) responsibilities for patients under direct care, including on-call duties and appropriate handover.
  • •Participate in on-going Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Programs, OSH programs, and required infection control and staff teaching activities.

Key Requirements

  • •MBBS or MBChB (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • •Completion of specialty qualification per the Recognized Specialty Certificate table.
  • •Maintain ethical standards consistent with contemporary medical practice.
  • •Maintain continuing professional education to meet minimum DOH requirements.
  • •Comply with infection prevention and control and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) policies and procedures.
