Job Summary

Participate in a 4–8 week onboarding and education program to become a Retail Personal Banker I, rotating through operations and Sales & Service. Use a consultative, Financial Needs Assessment approach to identify and meet customer needs, cross-sell retail consumer and small business products, and set appointments using approved marketing tools. Process teller transactions, support platform staff, and refer customers to business partners such as Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, and Investment.

Key Responsibilities

•Use consultative sales and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions.
•Utilize CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell existing customers and conduct outside sales activities, including onsite presentations and community financial literacy events.
•Process teller transactions and work as part of the platform staff while following retail policies and fraud-risk procedures.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience with transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new customers and cross-sell to existing customers.
•Must be able to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•Develop and maintain working knowledge of Retail policies and procedures to make sound decisions.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through NMLS (MU4R questions and registration required).
