Job Summary

Lead Commercial Finance for Alcoa’s aluminum business, partnering with Commercial, Supply Chain, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Operations teams. Own monthly/quarterly closing and reporting, including hedge results, and drive forecasting and planning for key revenue components. Perform fluctuation analysis, assess complex commercial transactions and accounting, analyze working capital drivers, and enhance processes through automation and cross-regional coordination. Present results to leadership and support external SEC reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Own monthly and quarterly closing and reporting for Alcoa’s aluminum HQ and commercial solutions, including hedge results.
•Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and planning for aluminum HQ and commercial solutions activities.
•Prepare balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analyses and present forecasts/results to Commercial leadership and the Executive Team.
•Assess accounting for complex commercial transactions including inventory repurchase arrangements, buy/resell transactions, revenue recognition, and intercompany profit elimination.
•Analyze working capital changes and drive process enhancements through automation and collaboration; coordinate reporting consistency across regions.
