Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to the evolution of the Edge Integration Cell runtime within SAP Integration Suite to enable integration scenarios across cloud and edge environments.
  • •Design, develop, and evolve secure, reliable platform capabilities including deployment automation, lifecycle management, and operational tooling for EIC services.
  • •Drive platform readiness and operational excellence through deployment automation, observability, onboarding, and documentation.
  • •Implement reliability improvements, troubleshoot complex system interactions, and refine engineering processes continuously.
  • •Work across the complete software lifecycle, translating requirements into robust technical solutions and sharing knowledge across globally distributed teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Build and operate distributed, cloud-native systems using Kubernetes-based platforms and containerized applications with Helm deployments.
  • •Manage modern software delivery practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, release engineering, and deployment automation (e.g., Jenkins and Kubernetes).
  • •Integrate and operate messaging/integration technologies such as JMS and Kafka, including enterprise integration patterns.
  • •Develop with modern programming languages such as Java or Go and apply infrastructure/automation tools such as Terraform and scripting (e.g., Bash, Groovy).
