Job Summary

Operate and help maintain asphalt plant equipment by performing skilled, safety-focused labor tasks. Grease and adjust plant machinery, unload AC tankers, pull oil/asphalt and cold feed samples, and collect shot temperatures. Safely operate equipment such as skid steer/man lift, keep the plant area in good condition, and assist with maintenance and minor repairs as needed. Work outdoors in varied weather and follow OSHA/MSHA safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Grease and adjust plant equipment and perform routine labor tasks to support asphalt production.
•Unload AC tankers and pull oil/asphalt and cold feed samples, then collect shot temperatures.
•Safely operate skid steer and man lift equipment.
•Maintain and upkeep the plant area.
•Assist with maintenance and minor repairs and perform other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•Minimum 1 year experience and/or training in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Preferred: minimum 3 years of road construction experience.
•Must be 18 years of age or older.
•Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check, and maintain a valid driver’s license.
