Job Summary

Own supply-chain and MAIT quality activities to support development of the Nyx modular space orbital vehicle. Define supplier quality inputs, perform contract surveillance, resolve nonconformances, and participate in quality/engineering gates and delivery review boards. Plan and execute inspections across incoming and key manufacturing stages, manage RCA and corrective/preventive actions, ensure compliance with AS9100/EN9100/ISO 9001 standards, and drive continuous improvement using quality data and tools like FMEA, control plans, and statistical analysis.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide inputs for supplier/subcontractor quality requirements for proposals and contracts.
•Perform surveillance of contract execution related to quality aspects.
•Engage with suppliers/subcontractors to resolve nonconformances and participate in quality/engineering gates.
•Define and execute inspection control activities across incoming and key manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing stages, and before release to customers.
•Support nonconformance management (MRB activities, rework/repair verification), lead RCA with corrective/preventive actions, and deliver day-to-day quality support and compliance enforcement in MAIT operations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 50,000 - 70,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
•Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in aerospace, space, defense, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments.
•Knowledge of quality standards such as EN/AS9100 and ISO 9001.
•Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inspection techniques (visual, dimensional, electrical), and GD&T.
•Experience with nonconformance management and root cause analysis tools (e.g., 8D, 5-Whys, Ishikawa).
