Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage a team of product developers to create and commercialize assigned products, ensuring deadlines, costing KPIs, and quality standards are met.
  • •Partner with Marketing and Design, proactively communicating with development and cross-functional teams to support smooth product development.
  • •Supervise predictive costing and review/validate/approve T1 costing information; negotiate with T1 as needed to meet target price and designs.
  • •Oversee handover from design to T1, manage T1 feedback, and ensure accurate data entry by T1 for article description (AD)/BOM, costing, and other required data.
  • •Evaluate prototypes for compliance (fit/size, color, accessories, materials), ensure testing against adidas quality/safety and A01 standards, and manage quality exceptions and sign-off sealing samples before buy-ready dates.

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year college or university degree with emphasis on clothing technology and/or manufacturing.
  • •Minimum 8 years of progressive work experience in the garment/textile industry.
  • •First experience in managing a team.
  • •In-depth knowledge of production garment construction and manufacturing.
  • •Advanced knowledge of materials, related testing, and costing with ability to negotiate.
