Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct storerooms, receiving, and shipping activities to ensure materials are expeditiously issued, received, and shipped.
  • •Maintain accurate computerized storeroom records and inventory accuracy targets, including FIFO, housekeeping/safety standards, and cycle counting.
  • •Coordinate with Machine Shop, Production Planning, Purchasing, and Assembly to minimize WIP inventories and support work order start dates.
  • •Manage Shipping & Receiving Team day-to-day direction, cross-training, motivation, and employee evaluation.
  • •Handle shipping customer orders (paperwork and invoicing) and resolve receiving discrepancies related to outside processing and PO receipts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree with 3+ years people leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (or military experience in lieu of a degree).
  • •3+ years professional experience in a supply chain or operations role within a manufacturing environment.
  • •Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • •This position requires access to export-controlled information; applicant must be a U.S. person as defined by U.S. export regulations.
  • •Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Rumford, RI will be considered (Active-Duty Military Service exempt).
