Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and lead the structural design process from inception through handover to the client.
  • •Develop sustainable structural designs for a range of UK and international multi-disciplinary projects.
  • •Provide specialist structural advice and design solutions on sustainable design, net zero carbon, MMC, and DfMA.
  • •Manage project processes to resolve technical issues and risks in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • •Participate in tender bids, contribute to fee agreement and commercial position, and mentor junior team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or HNC/HND qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • •Chartered or working toward Chartership (IStructE or ICE).
  • •Solid experience in structural engineering design across all materials.
  • •Detailed working knowledge of national codes and standards.
  • •Experience using structural design software such as ETABS, RAM Structural System, Tekla Structural Designer, and Tedds.
