Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform complex oilfield automation tasks under general supervision, specializing in troubleshooting to optimize automation and communication systems.
  • •Collaborate with field personnel, the automation department, and engineering staff to implement and maintain advanced automation equipment in the field.
  • •Determine requirements and specifications for communication and automation equipment, and configure PLCs and RTUs to industry-leading standards.
  • •Develop detailed scopes of work for automation and communication projects for internal evaluation and external bidding; oversee automation contractors to ensure compliance.
  • •Troubleshoot well-site automation/communication equipment, support installation and maintenance of automation technologies, and serve as a field-wide emergency contact for coordination.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • •4+ years of relevant experience in E&P Operations, preferably in oilfield automation, instrumentation, production operations, process control device integration, or a related field.
  • •Experience troubleshooting and optimizing oilfield automation and communication systems.
  • •Ability to configure and work with PLCs and Remote Terminal Units (RTUs).
  • •ISA CAP or CCST certifications are preferred.
