Job Summary

Deliver civil and bridge engineering projects, ensuring right-quality outcomes within time and budget. Perform bridge design, strengthening/repair, inspections, assessments, and support related civil/structural engineering needs. Lead feasibility studies and options appraisals, prepare specifications, reports, health and safety risk assessments, and fee estimates. Supervise and support junior engineers while collaborating with teams working across rail and highways projects for major clients.

Key Requirements

•MEng or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering
•Graduate membership with the Institution of Civil Engineers or Institution of Structural Engineers, approaching chartership
•Experience of bridge design, maintenance or assessment
•Experience of Eurocodes or sector-specific codes and standards (e.g. Network Rail standards, DMRB)
•Interest in finite element analysis software and parametric design techniques
