Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the day-to-day transportation operation of locations and customers, including both private fleet and hired haul.
  • •Implement strategic logistical planning and improve customer service, on-time delivery, and transportation performance.
  • •Lead and manage a transportation team (logistics coordinators, fleet manager, and Class A CDL drivers), including training, hiring, performance management, coaching, and discipline.
  • •Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies, including maintaining driver qualification files, auditing logs, and monitoring hours-of-service and driver records.
  • •Oversee fleet and equipment decisions, maintenance programs, carrier/vendor relationships and negotiations, and provide KPI reporting to management.

Key Requirements
