Key Responsibilities

  • •Visit customer homes to collect detailed measurements, photographs, and structural/electrical data needed for solar design.
  • •Assess roof conditions, electrical service panels, and property features using standardized tools and protocols.
  • •Perform pre-install site assessments and post-install inspection visits to confirm readiness for AHJ inspection or utility approval.
  • •Submit complete and accurate survey/inspection data using mobile field tools.
  • •Coordinate inspection readiness by discussing installations with AHJ/customers and scheduling inspections; resolve inspection-related issues with install teams as needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 33.4 - 44.54 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required.
  • •Must hold a valid state-recognized Electrical Certification at the Journeyman, Wireman, or higher level and be in good standing.
  • •Previous PV design, PV installation, or PV electrical experience (e.g., reading blueprints/plans, testing wiring/circuitry, National Electric Code knowledge) is helpful; at least one year of field construction experience preferred.
  • •Comfortable working on roofs, using ladders, and in tight/elevated spaces.
  • •Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a driving background check.
