Key Responsibilities

  • •Onboard to Mozilla’s major gifts portfolio and pipeline in Salesforce, and build relationships with existing donors.
  • •Advance active prospects from cultivation to solicitation and secure signed major gift commitments.
  • •Manage a major donor portfolio by systematically progressing donors through cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
  • •Plan and deliver stewardship touchpoints or donor events that deepen major donor engagement.
  • •Translate Mozilla’s programs and technical work into tailored proposals and impact stories, partnering with prospect research and program/executive staff.

Key Requirements

  • •A track record in major gift fundraising, preferably in technology, advocacy, or public interest organizations.
  • •Experience personally soliciting and closing five-, six-, and/or seven-figure gifts with high-net-worth individuals.
  • •Ability to conceive, plan, and execute a major gifts program and systematically manage a donor relationship portfolio from identification through stewardship.
  • •Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills that earn trust with donors and colleagues.
  • •Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling proposals and impact stories, with strong writing and presentation skills.
