Job Summary

Manage complex reinsurance transactions and support large reinsurance placements by partnering with clients and underwriters locally and globally. Contribute to placement strategy, negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing, and ensure optimal coverage. Develop and present reinsurance proposals, oversee timely execution, and build strong stakeholder relationships across Aon teams to deliver global capabilities for the Pacific Region.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage complex reinsurance transactions and foster relationships with clients and underwriters locally and globally.
•Contribute to the strategy and execute the placement of reinsurance programmes, ensuring optimal coverage.
•Collaborate with clients to understand risk management needs and objectives.
•Develop and present comprehensive reinsurance proposals, including actively preparing and presenting proposals to prospective clients.
•Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing, and oversee the placement process to ensure timely execution of reinsurance transactions.

Key Requirements

•Experience in reinsurance broking with a proven track record managing complex reinsurance transactions.
•Excellent written and verbal presentation skills, including report writing and tender preparation.
•Strong technical knowledge of reinsurance principles, products, and practices.
•Strong analytical and numerical skills, including balance sheet analysis and interpreting complex data to make recommendations.
•Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
