Job Summary

Lead AV design delivery for complex built-environment projects as part of WSP's Building Technology Systems (BTS). Develop system layouts, schematics and equipment schedules; coordinate AV with architecture, heritage constraints, acoustics, MEP and ICT infrastructure. Guide junior colleagues, manage design activities, and collaborate with UK BTS teams to ensure well‑coordinated, technically excellent building technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead AV workstreams on assigned projects, coordinating with multi-discipline teams to ensure robust outputs across design and implementation stages.
•Develop and deliver high-quality AV design packages, including system layouts, schematics and equipment schedules.
•Guide junior colleagues and contribute to team capability building, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project priorities.
•Support UK team/client engagement and ensure designs are practical, well-integrated with operational needs.
•Contribute to bids and proposals with clear, technical input and assist in identifying opportunities within existing clients.

Key Requirements

•Demonstrable track record delivering AV design within the built environment.
•Ability to lead AV design packages independently with strong technical capability.
•Experience developing design documentation including system layouts, schematics, equipment schedules and integration requirements.
•Ability to coordinate AV systems with architecture, heritage constraints, acoustics, MEP and ICT infrastructure.
•Practical understanding of AV systems for hybrid events, immersive or flexible spaces and public-facing venues.
