Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with cross-functional engineering, research scientists, technical program managers, and product managers to deliver AI-powered products for associates and customers.
  • •Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including LLM inference, agents/multi-agent workflows, similarity search, guardrails, evaluation, governance, and observability.
  • •Improve state-of-the-art foundation model optimization for production systems, focusing on scalability, cost, latency, and throughput.
  • •Own end-to-end architecture for complex AI systems to ensure maintainability, observability, and ethical alignment.
  • •Define and maintain AI reliability SLOs and collaborate with infrastructure engineering to optimize GPU/TPU utilization and inference pipelines, including leading technical reviews for deployments.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 215,200 - 245,600 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/AI/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering (or related) plus 4+ years developing AI/ML algorithms or technologies, or a Master’s plus 2+ years.
  • •4+ years programming with Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java.
  • •Deep technical foundation in engineering and mathematics to identify and exploit optimization opportunities for AI systems.
  • •Ability to understand and apply scientific publications to production systems with a bias toward responsibility and reliability.
  • •Experience leading tradeoff decisions across cost, latency, throughput, and accuracy for AI systems (preferred).
