Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and collaborate with a team on large energy storage and renewable projects, primarily in the UK & Ireland with some global work
  • •Undertake Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and design for planning, feasibility studies of energy storage systems and associated grid connections, control and metering
  • •Work with internal clients to deliver large renewable generation or private wire projects
  • •Provide support and exposure to bidding, project and quality management
  • •Adapt across multiple projects and maintain a client-focused approach

Key Requirements

  • •Experience with consultancy, contractor, equipment manufacturer or electrical utility in the energy sector; suitable experience as FEED designer, detailed design or owner’s engineer
  • •Strong understanding of renewable generation and energy storage technology, particularly battery storage
  • •Experience designing HV grid connections, metering, control requirements for battery storage installations including BESS with renewable generation
  • •Knowledge of grid connection requirements for renewables and energy storage (G59, G99, etc.)
  • •Electrical Engineering Degree
