Key Responsibilities

•Lead and collaborate with a team on large energy storage and renewable projects, primarily in the UK & Ireland with some global work
•Undertake Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and design for planning, feasibility studies of energy storage systems and associated grid connections, control and metering
•Work with internal clients to deliver large renewable generation or private wire projects
•Provide support and exposure to bidding, project and quality management
•Adapt across multiple projects and maintain a client-focused approach

Key Requirements

•Experience with consultancy, contractor, equipment manufacturer or electrical utility in the energy sector; suitable experience as FEED designer, detailed design or owner’s engineer
•Strong understanding of renewable generation and energy storage technology, particularly battery storage
•Experience designing HV grid connections, metering, control requirements for battery storage installations including BESS with renewable generation
•Knowledge of grid connection requirements for renewables and energy storage (G59, G99, etc.)
•Electrical Engineering Degree
