Key Responsibilities

  • •Verify all required warranty details are available on the repair order form before estimating the warranty repair and replacements.
  • •Ensure required warranty documents are attached to the repair order and report un-claimable hours to the Service Manager (copy Warranty Controller).
  • •Return repair orders to the Quality Controller if discrepancies are found, noting issues in red ink under the relevant stamp.
  • •Process warranty costing reports as required by the Service/Warranty Manager or Warranty Controller.
  • •Verify parts pricing and the correct warranty account before invoicing; reduce and clear warranty WIP in Autoline and submit extended warranty invoices within two weeks from PAR approval.

Key Requirements

  • •3-5 years experience costing repair orders in an automotive franchise, preferably in the Warranty department
  • •Automobile Trade Certificate (or equivalent) with 3-5 years experience working as a Technician
  • •Working knowledge of PC
  • •Accurate and efficient typing skills
  • •High School / undergraduate qualification
