Job Summary

Develop, verify, and validate safety-critical avionics display software for modern aircraft, following the complete SDLC from requirements through integration, formal verification, and testing. Create software verification test cases, procedures, and certification artifacts aligned to DO-178B/C. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve technical challenges, analyze software-hardware interfaces, and support configuration management and structural coverage and unit test automation.

•Design, develop, verify, and validate safety-critical avionics software features and functionality.
•Support software verification and validation activities in compliance with DO-178B/C standards.
•Participate in the full SDLC including requirements analysis, definition, design/development, integration, and formal verification/testing.
•Develop software verification test cases, test procedures, and certification artifacts for compliance.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges, analyze software-hardware interfaces, and support configuration management and change control.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline.
•Minimum 2 years of safety-critical software development experience (preferably avionics displays).
•Experience with software development and verification following DO-178B/C guidelines.
•Strong programming skills in C and experience using Python for verification and validation.
•Ability to develop software verification test cases and understand SDLC, Agile, configuration management, and software certification documentation.
