Key Responsibilities

  • •Rapidly research and test new AI technologies, translating capabilities into measurable business ROI.
  • •Evaluate AI solutions critically and reject approaches when the problem is not truly an AI problem.
  • •Build backends and data layers, implementing business logic leveraging API standards and NBCU gateways.
  • •Deploy and maintain databases/storage across SQL and NoSQL environments and design features from UI down to underlying APIs.
  • •Develop and maintain automated tests, and troubleshoot cloud and configuration issues while deploying to cloud-based platforms.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of backend or full-stack development experience, demonstrated via a strong portfolio and related work.
  • •Experience designing and delivering basic applications end-to-end with cross-functional collaboration as needed.
  • •Proficiency with Python, AWS, database systems, and SQL, including Python build/test/deployment tooling.
  • •Deep understanding of ML practices for foundation model integration, including tooling/instrumentation, feature/model selection, and RAG patterns (with some fine-tuning/deep learning insight).
  • •Hands-on experience building and integrating API backends, consuming APIs in front-end projects, and translating business needs into technical requirements.
