Key Responsibilities

  • •Own planning and tracking of financial forecasts and resource planning, ensuring optimal resource use for financial goals.
  • •Develop and manage a high-performing engineering team, including talent development, performance management, compensation, progression, and recognition.
  • •Provide SME leadership across cloud-based microservice architecture, resiliency, capacity, and supportability for payments services.
  • •Lead application design, development, testing, and production implementation; manage delivery issues and provide direction to the delivery team.
  • •Drive DevOps/AI thought leadership and innovation, including proactive risk management culture and automated security patching; manage escalations, audits, and support activities.

Key Requirements

  • •13+ years of leadership experience in technology and architecture, preferably in banking and financial services (payments preferred).
  • •SME understanding of cloud-based micro-service architecture, resiliency, capacity, and supportability.
  • •Understanding of API technology, containerisation, and micro services.
  • •Experience managing/influencing development teams across multiple locations and geographies in a matrix model.
  • •Exposure to regulatory requirements and demands is desirable, along with effective decision-making, influencing, and communication skills.
