Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end hourly production training including onboarding, OJT, cross-training, certification, and refresher training.
  • •Ensure competency verification (demonstrations, assessments, observation) and maintain authority to delay or stop certification when standards aren’t met.
  • •Use quality, scrap, rework, audit, and defect data to identify training gaps and drive corrective actions with Quality and Operations.
  • •Establish and maintain train-the-trainer processes, including trainer selection, coaching, and observation to ensure consistent, effective delivery.
  • •Provide day-to-day leadership to hourly training coordinators and maintain audit-ready training records and training metrics (time-to-competency, certification accuracy, retraining needs).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • •Two years leading manufacturing training/OJT, production readiness, or closely related operations/quality leadership in a plant environment.
  • •Two years building training that improves measurable outcomes such as quality, safety, productivity, and time-to-competency.
  • •No employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position (including CPT, OPT, STEM OPT, and H-1B-related options).
  • •Background in electrical components, utilities, or similar regulated/quality-critical manufacturing; plus experience creating training assessments/skill verification and using LMS/QMS documentation expectations.
