Job Summary

Lead the design, development, and industrialization of advanced motor drive electronics and power conversion platforms. Own technical roadmap and system architecture (inverters, motor control hardware, gate drive, protection, sensing) and drive end-to-end development through validation, certification, and production ramp. Set engineering standards for power electronics quality, safety, reliability, and EMC/EMI; mentor teams, partner cross-functionally, and represent the domain in executive and customer reviews.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the technical roadmap and system architecture for motor drive electronics, including inverters, motor control hardware, gate-drive circuitry, protection, sensing, and embedded control interfaces.
•Lead end-to-end development from concept, simulation, and prototyping through validation, certification, and production ramp.
•Define and enforce engineering standards and design guidelines for power electronics, EMC/EMI, safety, reliability, and derating.
•Provide technical direction and mentorship to senior engineers and specialists, ensuring rigorous design reviews and effective issue resolution.
•Collaborate with mechanical, systems, firmware, and manufacturing teams to optimize electric drive systems and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for complex field/test issues.

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree or PhD in ECE/EEE (preferred Power Electronics, Drives, or Controls); exceptional bachelors with strong experience may be considered.
•Typically 20+ years of industry experience in power electronics and motor drives, preferably in Aerospace.
•Understanding of the complete product development cycle: requirements, design, development, integration, and qualification.
•Good knowledge of standards/process such as DO-254 and DO-160.
•Solid communication, writing, and teamwork skills.
