Architect a self-serve Data Platform powering InMobi’s global-scale data ecosystem. Build and operate production-grade data tooling, integrating OSS and cloud services, with Spark, Flink, Airflow, Iceberg, and Kubernetes to deliver reliable, scalable data pipelines and observability across multi-region infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

•Architect and operate a self-serve Data Platform as a product powering InMobi’s global data ecosystem
•Design and implement data pipelines and platforms using Spark/Flink, Iceberg, and related tools; ensure scalability and reliability
•Scale engineering efforts by managing multi-region Kubernetes infrastructure and cloud-based data services
•Optimize compute and data processing performance (batch and real-time) using Spark, Flink, Velox/Gluten acceleration
•Develop observability and data quality frameworks (metrics, logs, traces; automated incident response) to meet SLAs/SLOs

Key Requirements

•7–10 years building, optimizing, and operating production data platforms; track record of delivering data platform solutions at scale
•Deep data engineering fundamentals: data modeling, partitioning strategies, query optimization
•Distributed compute: Spark (PySpark/Scala), Flink streaming; performance tuning for batch and real-time workloads
•Data lake architecture: Iceberg table format, Polaris catalog, schema evolution
•Orchestration: Airflow DAG development, dependency management, SLA monitoring; automation and reliability practices
