Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and govern new corporate and portfolio IT standards, guidelines, and practices, including assessing impacts of competing technologies and reviewing the IT estate.
  • •Scout technology advancements and innovations, connect them to IT strategy and standards, and lead updates to assets via Proof of Concepts.
  • •Lead solution architecture development for new initiatives, vendor solution acquisitions, and enhancements, including integration architecture aligned to agile architecture development practices.
  • •Provide expert advice and lead solution design reviews to ensure appropriate use of architectural standards and patterns, including guiding exception requests.
  • •Manage, direct, inspire, and coach Solutions Architect and senior engineering resources, and own architecture roadmaps and runways for complex projects and modernization activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree (12+3 or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or an equivalent IT discipline plus 8+ years of relevant experience leading the architecture of CRM, loyalty, marketing, and AI-powered customer solutions.
  • •Technical leadership leading a group of technical architects and senior developers, with the ability to influence delivery plans based on architecture and skills constraints.
  • •Comprehensive understanding of technologies including Java, Cloud, React, open-source frameworks, low code platforms, observability, automation, mobile & frontend technologies, AI/ML, container management platforms, database, and integration.
  • •Knowledge of agile software development methodologies such as SCRUM and Scaled Agile, and software modelling techniques such as ArchiMate, C4, and UML.
  • •Hands-on experience in AWS and MS Azure architecture and engineering, plus excellent knowledge and experience in CI/CD; AWS/Azure Certified Solutions Architect preferred.
