Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct routine laboratory testing following established methods and quality protocols.
  • •Prepare, label, and process samples for chemical, physical, or geotechnical analysis.
  • •Operate standard laboratory equipment and assist with basic maintenance and calibration.
  • •Follow strict health, safety, and quality procedures to ensure reliable test results.
  • •Record observations and results accurately in logs, templates, and digital systems.

Key Requirements

  • •A college diploma or certificate in environmental technology, chemistry, materials science, or a related field (or ongoing completion).
  • •Experience in a laboratory setting—academic, co-op, or professional—where attention to detail and method compliance were essential.
  • •Familiarity with basic lab equipment (balances, ovens, sieves, pH meters, etc.).
  • •Ability to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs as part of routine laboratory duties
