Engineering Manager for a new Government Cloud product team to build and operate secure, FedRAMP-compliant government infrastructure on AWS GovCloud. Lead 3-6 engineers, mentor across levels, partner with GTM, CS and Security to achieve authorization, and foster an inclusive, high-performing engineering culture while aligning with compliance and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage an engineering team of 3-6 infrastructure and software engineers responsible for the technical ownership of the Government Cloud offering.
•Support the growth and development of engineers across all levels of experience through regular feedback, coaching and mentorship.
•Work with colleagues across GTM, CS, and Security to plan and prioritize projects that achieve authorization and maintain compliance.
•Facilitate communication between your team, other Product & Engineering teams, and departments at Tines to align features for Public Sector customers.
•Act as the escalation point for technical issues in government environments and engage with Public Sector prospects/customers when needed.

Key Requirements

•Experience in an engineering management or team lead role, ideally at a SaaS company.
•Experience building or operating in compliance-regulated or government environments.
•Experience with AWS GovCloud or Azure Government and restricted networks.
•Strong track record as a software, infrastructure, or systems engineer.
•Familiarity with Ruby, Rails, React, TypeScript, Postgres, Redis, Docker, AWS, and AWS CDK is valued.
