Key Responsibilities

  • •Design Plumbing, Fire Protection and HVAC systems for buildings.
  • •Review HVAC calculations and prepare design concepts and layouts; assist in modelling/drafting by technicians.
  • •Prepare plumbing design concepts and layouts for modelling/drafting by technicians.
  • •Contribute to preparation and review of technical documents, calculations and drawings.
  • •Mentor junior engineering staff and participate in knowledge transfer with senior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •University Degree in Mechanical Engineering; two years of experience designing HVAC and plumbing for commercial, institutional, and light industrial facilities
  • •Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be considered
  • •Five+ years of experience designing HVAC and plumbing for commercial, institutional, and light industrial facilities (preferred)
  • •PWGSC/PSPC - Level II Secret Clearance preferred for Federal Projects (preferred)
  • •Professional Engineering license is preferred (preferred)
