Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee and lead a group of blending technicians while ensuring standards are followed and escalating issues to supervisor/manager.
  • •Set up and operate mixer system and associated conveying/pumping to produce compound needed for production.
  • •Accurately weigh and add ingredients in proper order per formulation, handle material supply using forklift in tight areas, and alert foreman when weighing errors are discovered.
  • •Maintain blend levels in silos as instructed, stock raw materials per operating policy, and ensure railcar hose caps remain installed to prevent contamination.
  • •Perform daily inspections of mixer system, write work orders for repairs, complete required paperwork, and assist maintenance personnel upon request.
