Support a variety of transport planning projects across modes by developing transport strategies, policies, and business cases. Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver client-ready proposals and technical outputs, contribute to bid and project workstreams, and help improve commercial and financial performance. Collaborate with Net Zero, Future Mobility, and Freight growth areas, with experience across public transport, active travel, scheme appraisal, and funding applications.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to transport planning projects and proposals with both technical and commercial inputs.
•Support delivery of transport programmes and projects from inception through to completion.
•Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver large projects from concept to delivery.
•Support securing and delivering work for a local client portfolio.
•Contribute to the financial and commercial performance of projects and the team.

Key Requirements

•Prior experience in transport and mobility planning and design, including transport data analysis.
•Strong report writing and verbal communication skills to present complex information clearly to clients and colleagues.
•Experience working with Local Authority and Combined Authority clients.
•Experience using transport planning software packages such as TRICS, Junction 10, and LinSIG.
•Understanding of project management skills across transport and multi-disciplinary projects.
