Key Responsibilities

  • •Occupy client or service roles involving sponsorship and/or strategic requirements.
  • •Manage client relationships and identify business development opportunities.
  • •Lead or contribute to the preparation of bid proposals or manage key bids.
  • •Provide strategic leadership to define and champion vision, objectives, and success criteria for projects, programmes, or portfolios.
  • •Ensure governance, assurance, compliance, risk oversight, and change management to deliver intended outcomes and benefits in line with strategy.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in a sponsorship role for large-scale infrastructure or capital delivery project, programme or portfolio in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • •Degree level education, membership of a relevant professional body, or equivalent professional experience.
  • •Extensive knowledge of the project lifecycle, including business case development and mapping benefits and outcomes to define requirements.
  • •Experience navigating planning, regulatory, political and environmental constraints.
  • •Strong commercial acumen with experience in investment planning and contractual/commercial negotiations, including ownership of financial status.
