Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive hands-on training and perform duties across the distribution center including Operations, Management, and Purchasing.
  • •Observe experienced employees to learn methods, procedures, and performance standards.
  • •Shadow contractors/builders, service/maintenance, and retail store customers to learn the swimming pool, irrigation, and landscaping business.
  • •Participate in classroom training covering operations, financials, leadership, human capital management, and operating systems.
  • •Deliver a comprehensive presentation to senior management at the end of the 6-month program and complete assigned projects as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations, or a related discipline with a minimum of 2.5 GPA.
  • •Work experience in a leadership and/or problem-solving role (or relevant leadership via distribution/supply chain internships, clubs/organizations, volunteer/community service, athletics, or military leadership).
  • •Ability and desire to work in a distribution warehouse environment.
  • •Strong leadership skills and results-driven self-starter with the ability to lead and develop a team amid rapidly changing priorities.
  • •Willingness and ability to relocate during and after the program and travel up to 25% of the time.
