Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform provision/maintenance and fault rectification for assigned core network elements (DWDM/IP-core equipment/GPON network) in line with standards and procedures.
  • •Carry out routine tasks independently for core (OTN/IP core nodes) and fixed network elements (GPON), including major/non-routine work.
  • •Assist with prescribed routine tests using different test equipment and implement fault rectification procedures.
  • •Support maintenance activities such as requisitioning, receiving, acceptance testing, mobilization, and handling store issues and spares/tools.
  • •Attend and clear faults reported by NOC teams, inform major faults to superiors, and work shifts including call-outs/emergencies.

Key Requirements

  • •Fresh graduate with academic knowledge of telecom network operations and maintenance, including Transport, IP Switching, GPON, and Mobile networks.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • •Strong knowledge of fixed transport networks, IP-Core, and Access Equipment (GPON) technologies.
  • •Hands-on experience with network maintenance tools and equipment for testing and troubleshooting.
  • •Valid driving license and ability to travel within the assigned zone as required.
