Key Responsibilities

  • •Engage in supplier introduction and disengagement requirements with the Applied Materials supply base.
  • •Support maintenance of supplier agreements and develop procurement strategies balancing cost, quality, reliability, and urgency.
  • •Create and implement commodity road maps and commodity strategies; assist with new product development and PLC process alignment.
  • •Drive material cost reduction projects, including supplier negotiations and collaboration with engineering on design optimization and should-costing.
  • •Forecast and communicate requirements to suppliers and coordinate demand signals through MRP to minimize inventory exposure; resolve material shortages to ensure production continuity.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Management, Data Analytics or a related field.
  • •Proficiency in developing effective executive reports and presentations.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • •Strong communication skills (listening, writing, quantitative, qualitative and oral) and the ability to collaborate cross-organizationally.
  • •Detail-oriented problem-solver with a flexible, adaptable mindset and strong multi-tasking/time-management skills.
