Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide system-level troubleshooting for control rooms, studio equipment, audio equipment, and associated computer systems.
  • •Perform preventative maintenance on studio and control room equipment.
  • •Assist Studio Operations with technical setup in control rooms and studios for live broadcasts.
  • •Install and update equipment and systems software, and repair/troubleshoot equipment to the module level using test equipment.
  • •Manage projects including system design, integration, and commissioning in support of production initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of experience in a television broadcast environment (or equivalent education and experience).
  • •BS degree in Engineering, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • •Proficiency with broadcast production systems and software, including audio consoles, intercom systems, video switchers, wireless audio, and server-based playout.
  • •Understanding of TCP/IP networks and knowledge of digital TV (HDSDI).
  • •Ability to support a 24x7 production environment and work overtime (nights and weekends), including being willing to work in Stamford, CT and submit to a background investigation.
