Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate end-to-end export chain processes from load port to customers’ mill, including placing/maintaining orders with mines and customers.
  • •Manage monthly export planning and delivery schedules, including freight booking, vessel nomination, customs clearance, shipment monitoring, and transshipment.
  • •Perform inventory management and reconciliations, including monthly reporting, and provide monthly sales volume and invoice values to the Financial area.
  • •Manage letter of credit analysis and processing (including negotiation with customers) and take ownership of invoice generation, approval, issuance, receipt recognition, and overdue payments.
  • •Build long-term relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers while delivering governance/compliance by executing transactions within approved limits and adhering to group policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Knowledge of commodities value chains and transactional/operational product specifications, delivery terms, and documentation requirements.
  • •Knowledge of third-party contract processes and payments, including sales contracts and contract performance management.
  • •Understanding of marketing fundamentals such as pricing, delivery strategy, value chain dynamics, and net back calculations.
  • •Adept in offtake arrangements and pre-export/pre-payment finance.
  • •Experience in transport logistics and overall logistics including sales operations in the resources sector.
