Key Responsibilities

  • •Use Mappedin’s Editor tool to interpret and digitize indoor floorplans of varying complexity.
  • •Work with blueprints and architectural plans (mainly office spaces) to create simplified, user-friendly digital maps.
  • •Apply design skills to understand what key information the client needs for their use case.
  • •Assist with ongoing map updates.
  • •Conduct QA on your work and contribute to peer reviews to ensure map accuracy and consistency.

Key Requirements

  • •Must be currently enrolled in a recognized university or college Co-op program in Urban Planning, Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Geomatics, or a related discipline.
  • •Approved by your institution for full-time work during the designated terms (January 5 - August 27, 2027)
  • •Use CAD-editing tools, including AutoCAD, to interpret and digitize floorplans.
  • •Use Adobe Illustrator as part of the mapping/digitizing workflow.
  • •Have strong attention to detail and can read technical drawings while meeting project deadlines.
