Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and develop the Mermaid team, setting standards for professionalism, safety, performance quality, and positive team culture.
  • •Oversee choreography and delivery for mermaid shows, meet-and-greets, and children’s parties, ensuring consistent guest and performance standards.
  • •Coordinate training, safety readiness, emergency preparedness exercises, rehearsals, and performance check-ins.
  • •Manage daily scheduling, team briefings, show operations, and operational administration (including equipment issues and records).
  • •Support program growth by improving show content, developing new guest experiences and special events, and performing as a mermaid when required.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Mermaid performance, aquatic performance, freediving, synchronized swimming, diving, dance, theatre, or comparable guest entertainment.
  • •Minimum 2 years of management, supervisory, team leadership, training, coaching, or program leadership experience.
  • •Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating a team, training program, show operation, and guest-facing performance-based operations.
  • •Recognized Mermaid certification is required (instructor-level Mermaid/freediving certification preferred if formal training is required).
  • •CPR, First Aid, and Rescue training (or willingness to obtain), plus the ability to hold breath underwater for extended periods.
