Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the roadmap for identity, access, and deployment across the dbt platform, from auth primitives to admin surfaces.
  • •Make enterprise security a reason to win by advancing SSO, SCIM, RBAC, and PrivateLink beyond table stakes into standout admin experiences.
  • •Lead the single-tenant to multi-tenant migration, coordinating a multi-quarter program without a visible seam.
  • •Unlock new geographies and clouds by deciding deployment strategy based on data residency, regional isolation, and cloud parity.
  • •Own the customer-facing onboarding and admin “front door” experience (login, sign-up, invites, users, groups, permissions) and turn security review blockers into roadmap.
  • •Partner with infrastructure and platform teams on telemetry and observability to operate this layer with confidence.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time on identity, access management, security, or infrastructure products.
  • •Direct experience shipping authentication/authorization systems (SSO, SCIM, OAuth/OIDC, RBAC) with strong opinions on standards.
  • •Experience with multi-tenant SaaS deployment models, including tenancy/isolation, regional expansion, and migration between them.
  • •Strong technical foundation to collaborate as an engineering peer and reason about architecture in design reviews.
  • •Comfort working with enterprise customers, especially security/platform teams, and translating feedback into prioritized product work.
