Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as principal technical investigator on complex business cases using microeconomic modeling, econometric estimation, and cost-benefit analysis.
  • •Lead business modeling and investment analysis by building custom DCF models (e.g., revenue, EBITDA, NPV, IRR, CAGR) for policies, projects, and programs.
  • •Use analytics and data visualization tools (e.g., ArcGIS, Costar, IMPLAN, REMI, Python, Tableau) to derive insights from client and third-party datasets.
  • •Conduct stakeholder interviews, including with C-suite and senior management, and synthesize inputs into executive-ready deliverables (decks, narratives, dashboards).
  • •Outline, supervise, and provide quality control over analytical tasks assigned to junior team members, while supporting business development activities and pitch materials.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Public Policy, Finance, or a quantitatively related field plus 4 years as a professional economist and/or quantitatively inclined management consultant (or equivalent experience/education) and at least 2 years of management consulting experience.
  • •Experience in microeconomic modeling and econometrics with strong numerical reasoning and quantitative business acumen.
  • •Experience with funding and financing strategies, including value capture, and economic/fiscal impact analysis for public finance and infrastructure investments.
  • •Experience building financial models to determine feasibility of infrastructure investments and evaluating financial cashflows, particularly public finance.
  • •Ability to code econometric models and use analytics/data visualization tools to derive patterns and insights from client and third-party datasets.
