Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise and counsel RTX and its businesses on all aspects of privacy law.
  • •Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of privacy policies, standard work, playbooks, guidance, templates, and documentation.
  • •Develop and deliver privacy law training for privacy professionals, data protection officers, and general employee awareness.
  • •Provide legal advice on data breach response and management, including legal reporting obligations.
  • •Manage outside counsel and vendors engaged on privacy legal matters and support privacy program effectiveness (self-assessments and control testing).

Key Requirements

  • •Juris Doctorate (JD) with a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience.
  • •Minimum 10 years of relevant law firm and/or in-house experience with investigative, analytical, and strong written and oral communication skills.
  • •Knowledge of U.S. and global privacy and data protection laws, regulations, and government policies.
  • •Previous experience advising and counseling clients on privacy and/or data protection matters.
  • •Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
