Job Summary

Support the wine program for One&Only The Palm by assisting with wine service and guiding guests to wine selections. Help maintain the wine cellar, manage inventory, and uphold service standards during daily restaurant operations. Recommend and pour wines professionally, provide accurate wine knowledge for guests, assist with wine list updates, and support pairing dinners, tastings, and special events while coordinating with the service team.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist in recommending and serving wines based on guest preferences.
•Present, open, and pour wine professionally following service standards.
•Support guests with wine pairings and provide accurate wine information (regions, varietals, vintages, flavor profiles).
•Maintain the wine cellar and inventory: assist with receiving/storage, labeling, FIFO rotation, stock-taking, and reporting discrepancies.
•Assist with wine promotions, education sessions, special events, and coordinate wine service with food service; help during peak service times as needed.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 2-year experience in a similar capacity in an upscale 5* hotel/resort environment.
•Experience working in a Michelin star rated restaurant with strong wine knowledge.
•Ability to provide excellent management and interpersonal skills and build strong relationships with diverse, high-profile clientele.
•Dynamic team player capable of delivering the highest standard of service to guests.
•Excellent spoken and written English is required; additional language is highly regarded.
