Job Summary

Join the Boeing Experimental Systems Group (ESG) Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) Mission Design team to help develop first-of-kind autonomous space vehicles and missions. Lead coordination to define fault and autonomy architecture, analyze failure modes (FMECA/fault tree), and develop onboard fault-protection requirements and recovery procedures. Work with system architects, ConOps developers, and customers to iterate quickly in aggressive development timelines, while operating 100% onsite at one of the listed locations.

Key Responsibilities

•Support technology integration and development of first-of-kind space vehicles and missions.
•Lead coordination with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement an optimal fault and autonomy architecture.
•Develop and present review packages to internal and external senior leadership.
•Ensure system hardware redundancy meets required fault-tolerance levels and align autonomy to customer risk tolerance.
•Develop software requirements for onboard fault protection, analyze failure modes, and design autonomy or ground procedures to recover from failures.

•1+ years of experience in systems engineering, systems integration, and/or software engineering.
•1+ years of experience with failure analysis (performing or review).
